I am not an "official, nor recognised, art critic".
Dark, Macabre, Pagan, Fantastical, Futuristical, and Voyeuristic. Human Body parts are exposed and contorted, especially the Vertebrae, legs, arms, genitals, nipples, mouths, and, err, poop-holes.
H.R.Giger seems to have a fascination, in particular with these last 2.... Which you either love or hate, like most Art, really. Strong feelings arise to the surface....
There are ink drawings, Acrylics on wood, Metal Sculptures, to be found here, along with some of Giger`s PRIVATE COLLECTION of other Artists work. The man has been going since the 1960`s. Before the first ALIEN FILM was released, in 1978, which really put H.R.Giger on "The Map".
Yes, THAT first film, really was made that long ago, and in my humble opinion shall always remain an ICONIC CREATION.
No, no. Absolutely not, no photos of the ALIEN itself, that was a private moment, between me, and it.
